Web Address: Appleton Exotics
Appleton Exotics are an exotics pet shop based in Scholes, Wigan. They offer a variety of exotics pets including Parrots, Snakes, Tortoises and a variety of lizards (all to be seen on the website). As well as offering an exotic pet boarding service, custom built vivarium and food and accessories.
They needed a website that helps to showcase all of their services in a way that is nice nad easy to use whilst being professional and easy to maintain.
Work
We created a website using WordPress so that it could be easily updated and managed with additional content. It was vitally important that the website was responsive to screen size as the majority of site visitors were coming from mobile devices. A simple to use website on a smaller screen would make a huge difference to conversion rates.
As most visitors use the website on a mobile, easy to find contact details and directions to the physical shop were needed to be found as a matter of priority. A lot of marketing of the services is done on Social media, so people often already know what they are looking for, and the website is a reference for a phone number, opening times and directions whilst on the move.
